I have no qualms with 1-4, they're ranked about perfect. I don't think Baton Rouge should be that high, but I'm not sure what town to rank over it. Athens is nice, but really small. Tuscaloosa is just as much of a dump as Baton Rouge is. I'm surprised both Columbias are ranked so low, though I've never been to either one.

So, the towns represented on the panel ranked 1-5. Makes perfect sense.

Lexington is a spread out city. Plenty to do here, it's just mostly not all on campus. Still haven't been to all SEC locales so I can't give a fair opinion. More a city with a university rather than vice versa

Thanks. Was definitely expected to get absolutely bashed for that. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites and i bet I walked a solid 10 miles a day.

Oxford is Grenada without the lake

No its not. That might be the worst comparison I've ever heard of. You might go to hell for degrading Oxford to that level of shittyness. I used to live in Grenada. It has one of the highest murder rates in MS. The Grenada square is a ghost town and is basically part of the ghetto now. No one in Grenada has money. All the women are pregnant.....including most girls over the age of 15. Go to walmart in Grenada. You will see people that looked like they've been living under a rock and could have been on the movie "Deliverance". Grenada is arguably one of the most redneck towns in the South. In Oxford, there's money everywhere. Hell just drive through Oxford and you'll see every brand of luxury car within a few minutes. You don't see ratchet arse people everywhere you look. The town is full of rich beautiful people. The Oxford Square is full of life and culture and is basically what makes that town other than the university. Oxford is supposedly one of the safest college towns. Murders in Oxford are almost unheard of...and there really are no bad neighborhoods in Oxford. Oxford is one of the few towns in MS that's enjoyable. It's an oasis of money in the poorest state in America.

I mean I thought it might be a reference but you shouldn't joke around with a town that shitty. I'm not on here enough to pick out the inside jokes on a message board

OK here I go.

1 and 2 are spot on and IMO are interchangeable. By far the 2 best destinations for visiting fans in the SEC. Way to go Vandy and UGA.

The rest of the list is OK minus 2 things. I don't get what everyone sees in Oxford....I think it sucks. Also as a former resident of BR it should be lower IMO. I can't imagine it is an easy town for an out of towner to have fun in.
