WVU let Syracuse score almost 50. Honestly, WVU and Penn State both suck
WVU's offense doesn't suck, Penn States offense looks like they are running in quick sand

If the "experts" have not mentioned the role of LSU's punter in this game they have done no analysis and their opinion is worth shite.
For instance, Phil Steele's analysis is completely worthless. WTF is he babbling about? Completely superficial. Why has LSU had more yards run up against them? McCarron's more than a game manager? Why? Almost half of his passes are within 5 yds of the line of scrimmage. What does history greater than 2 years ago have to do with anything given the turnover in the personnel? He's a hack and fools lap this shite up.

I would have picked LSU easy if it wasn't for the last three games Alabama has played. AJ appears to be more comfortable and he seems to be in sync with his receivers. I know it was just Vandy, Tenn, and Ole Miss, but he passed the ball better against those teams than he did against North Texas. I certainly know Tenn had the box stacked heavy to stop Trent and AJ killed them.
I still don't know who will win the game because both teams are good. But I'm starting to buy that AJ in his first year appears to be a little bit more than a game manager.

Auburn's Coach Luper picked Bama.
Finebaum couldn't really believe that he actually picked on the air. Luper also said that there wasn't anyone that could beat Bama at BDS this year.

Agreed.
I'm just complaining about "experts", whose job it is to watch sports and know the match-ups, who come out with this vacuous drivel to support a pick they've likely given about a half hour of consideration. Hell, there are probably 50 laymen on this board who could make a more reasoned prediction.
For instance, your post notes that Tenn held Richardson to 77yds and McCarron had to win it. I've heard few if any experts mention this. The response would be...what happens if LSU puts 8 in the box with their secondary being lightyears better than Tennessee's? Dunno, but I'd like an informed back and forth about that from people who spend their lives watching and reporting on sports.

Everyone needs to understand that stats mean very little in football...Once you suit up and get on that feild, all those stats go out the window...
The only thing football stats are good for is getting awards and hardware at the end of the season...
REMEMBER THIS...
The team that performs the best on both sides of the ball will win the game....
turn overs and feild position will be a deciding factor......
Good luck to LSU & BAMA.....
Well said!

So that means Alabama has the edge at:
interior offense
interior defense
running back
secondary
linebackers
not at all what they are saying...they are just stressing those 3

It is hilarious how ignorant so many members of the media are. They are either stupid or biased. LSU is clearly the superior team.
Yes, you dumbasses this was a tongue in cheek comment! Don't go getting your panties in a wad!
In all earnesty: LSU 20, Bama 19.

Pretty much how I see it. It will come down to the LSU line and the passing game. It is likely that LSU receivers will get behind the 'Bama coverage with monotonous regularity. That will loose the running game in the 4th quarter. Game over. Lights out.

Perfect, that is the way we like it. All the experts will have to admit how wrong they were after Saturday's game. How many experts picked us to lose to Oregon, West Virginia, and Texas A&M in last year's cotton bowl. We like it when we know many experts are picking against us.
Beat the crap out of Alabama's red elephants.
