Guess we know why LSU players don't get chargers.

I wonder what healthcare professionals at St Dominic’s in Jackson, MS think about this. Ever since becoming acquired by OLOTL they have had to flex their scheduling and many have worked short-staffed.

It is unclear whether those who received money from Funes will be targeted by the feds, now that the investigation into Funes is essentially done. But sources familiar with the case say that is not likely and court documents continue to stress—as has OLOL, which first announced the embezzlement scheme last November—that Funes acted alone.

Big trouble for Mr. Funes.

Nothing burger for LSU.

Probably. It depends on if the guy is considered a booster or not.

Meh.

Probably some arse-hurt shite going on, attempting to spread the blame.

Well this is apparently a rogue criminal working on his own.

Say I start sending money to random parents around the SEC, how would the schools know about it? They would not.

Seems to be the case here. Nothing burger, extra nothing.

This is bullshite and everybody knows it. Only Bama pays players to play football. Every LSU student athlete only accepts the chance for a quality education and the meager ncaa allowed perdiem. LSU student athletes get part time jobs to pay for their used vehicles as well. Everyone knows this. Why are you trolling Michigan fan. You should be thinking about ending that Ohio State streak.

You've apparently not heard about Alabama's Albert Means/ Logan Young deal, huh?
Long story short: booster pays recruit to sign.

I don't think any on this board thinks this is a nothing burger, it's a little bit of smoke here. Especially looking at some of the details when you read the full article. But hey try to act like it's nothing. It's too much stuff being leaked out involving LSU lately to simply sweep it under the rug.

Willy is an expert at embracing his cheating Tigers and turning a blind eye. It’s pathetic at this point.

This has nothing to do with LSUs athletic dept paying players. Funes is a tpos that will end up going to jail, but nothing will happen with regards to LSU athetics from the ncaa.

Give willy a few minutes and he'll be on the "statute of limitations" kick.

Is he a booster?

Because if he's a booster, that's how Alabama got fricked with Albert Means IIRC.

If he's not a booster, then probably in the clear.

Again, I direct you to the Albert Means/Logan Young case.

Think about it. LSU is basically untouchable now with the Woodward-Emmert family connection. We are bullet proof.
