We already get Bama, Georgia, and LSU yearly.

Welcome to our world.

The interesting thing about this nobody is talking about is they’re going to give the “big” teams 2 games against other big teams and 1 against a smaller team and vice versa.

Thing of it is there’s 9/16 schools that could be considered one of the major programs. So will Tennessee or Auburn be classified as a “small” school for scheduling purposes? Who will get the draw where Auburn or Tennessee will be their “easy” permanent game?

Is there another category for easier teams like Texas A&M?

A&M would be the obvious pick but I just have a feeling they’re going to be treated like a big school for scheduling purposes.

This isn't intimidating to anyone in the West. We've been living the meat grinder schedule for a decade. Welcome to the party Georgia.

Amen.

The griping of the east teams is going to get insufferable if we abandon east - west divisions and go with that.

Just look at UGA’s path just a couple years ago.

Vandy. Missouri. South Carolina. A still then struggling UT. A still then struggling UK. A continuing struggling Florida.

Mississippi State could have been east champs multiple times between 2010 and 2018 if we swapped with UGA in that timeframe.

The west is superior mantra is several years old.

The two are quite even & the East appears to have overtaken the beat team lives now in the East.

“Bama, LSU, A&M….”

One of these is not like the others.

Every SEC school will play every other SEC school at least twice in a four year period. Aggie won’t get to hide behind playing South Carolina anymore. They will also have to play UGA and Tennessee. 8-4 will become 6-6.

I don't see how the schedules get any tougher for State or other little 8 west teams. Yeah we get UGA and Florida more frequently but we also get USC, Vandy, and Mizzou more often as well.

Mississippi State has never had a team good enough to win the East.

Well they've actually won the West before, so that isn't true.

Back in the 90s when the west was shut. If not for them, Arkansas would’ve won the west that year. The west was garbage in the 90s.

I understand when LSU complains about playing in the West because they could actually win the East. But Miss State fans saying all they need for glory is to be playing in the East is delusional.
