250 yards on the ground, one RB was averaging 10 yards/carry.

Florida gave up SEVERAL big running and passing plays. Gave up almost 500 yards of offense to a mediocre UM offense.

Shouldn't that be a concern as well?

Yes, man, Florida sucks.
I wrote a thread about it earlier.

It has been beaten to death. TOP Story of the weekend so far: Florida sucks.

The good news for Michigan is that tOSU and Wisconsin both looked lackluster.

We agree. Florida's suckiness extends to both sides of the ball. Not to mention coaching.

And somehow, someway, Butch Jones will figure out a way to lose to them.

They have Duke Dawson and a bunch of very, very, uneven players.

When your offense completely sucks your defense is going to get worn out and suffer. Let me put it this way: Florida's defense is a lot better than their offense.

Anyone that didn't see a major drop off on defense coming is blind. McElwain hasn't recruited nearly well enough on defense to keep it up and there's only one team in the country that can immediately reload after losing that much talent

Their defense scored 14 points.

UM's offense scored 14 points.

I don't think UF's defense were that bad. They had no support offensively.

Hard to make stands when you're offense goes three and out constantly

As an LSU fan I can relate but UF's D wasn't as good as advertised

Florida's defense played pretty well yesterday given how long they were on the field and the complete ineptitude of the offense.

Agree. If the Gator offense could have put together some good drives, it would have changed everything. Their defense did their job.

Defense had 5 sacks and 2 pick 6's

Hard to be tough when you get zero help offensively

I thought Michigan looked pretty good, if Bama wins out and Michigan wins out, I would love to see them in a playoff or championship game.

The defense looked soft but they also scored 14 points and gave up 26. If ever defense Michigan plays the rest of the year does that good they will be lucky to make a bowl game. The backups on defense don't have any experience and had to play to much against Michigan because the Offense couldn't move the ball . This happens a lot when UF plays good teams .

You could see the frustration wearing on the defense as they were on the field damn near the entire 3rd quarter because special teams turnover then QB turnover then multiple 3 and outs. Then you had a few guys get dinged on the field to an already depleted squad then gap integrity went to hell, which gave up some big runs.

But that's been the story of this team since Tebow left. Our offense wears out our defense time after time. I really can't remember long sustained offensive drives in the last few years? What does that look like?

UF is just bad. That was disappointing to watch.

I was pulling for UF and thought they had a better football team than that. I know they had 10 players suspended, but it looked to me like they need at least 20 more.

I had my doubts when UF hired McElwain. Yesterday did nothing to change my mind about that. UF did not look prepared to play. That is on the staff.
