I don't remember many SEC fans vehemently railing against the BCS

Tim Brando spent years railing against the BCS during halftime of SEC games with his "fly in the ointment" bullshite.

I mean, that should certainly be the case.

He among many. He's a shite head but he's not the only one. We all could name several others:

Klatt
Cowherd
Kennell

and so many others.

Well if they had done the right thing and put in Oklahoma State we wouldn’t have this problem.

You think Bama vs Ok St would have been a better game than whatever LSU was doing that night in New Orleans.

Nah. It's UGA, Banana and OSU to be objective.

LSU OkSt would have been a perfectly good championship. Brandon Weeden might have died, but that’s a sacrifice we’d have been willing to make.

Thanks for the kind words but in my view only these 3 teams really have an argument:

OSU
Georgia
Indiana
... maybe ... Oregon

This should be the 4 team playoff IMO.

But yet there was a much better team that would have been missing much like Ohio State in 2014 would have been left out if we went to only 2 teams.

#20 & #24 have no business competing in a 12 team playoff.

1 thousand agree.

But I'd take it further to no teams from #5 on back.

It’s anti SEC. Always has been. BCS was changed to playoffs because it was two SEC teams. Then too many SEC teams made it so they added more playoff teams and automatic bids for other conferences and G5. It’s just to keep the SEC from winning every year.

Yeah for LSU. The way yall act, you’d think LSU got left out of the championship. Yall chose to leave your offense at home that night

No hate on Nick Saban. He had (at the time) the second ranked team in country and they proved it on the field by thrashing us 21-0 and winning the national championship. But in the end we lost something by how it unfolded. Think we would have had a better system (in the end) if we had an LSU vs Oklahoma State championship. Purple and Gold lenses firmly in place.

If you want to win the National Championship maybe you should try crossing midfield more than once.

And if LSU felt that strong about OK State, they should have scheduled a game with them after the BCS game for second place. Unless LSU was concerned not being able to cross midfield at all against OK State.
