IMO, it will take Bama’s best offense effort to have a chance with Georgia. If the Bama D that showed up for most of the 2nd half last night shows up, I think they can hold UGA to less than 30, but, unless the offense plays at its best, I’m not sure they can score more than that. Should be a close game either way.

And you still haven't scored a TD vs Clemson.

You mean that Alabama's current qb isn't the single season or career leader in pass efficiency, like the last 2 were?

Wow

oh yeah, and UGA can't score enough points to beat ALabama. Their defense has played a lot of bad to average offenses and won't be prepared for UA.

UGAs offense isn’t better than Tenn. we are going to beat the dog out of UGA.

I'm in agreement here but Mac was the most efficient qb in college football history. His timing was perfect, reads were perfect. The best ever at Bama. A step back was gonna happen. Bryce is going to be great but as aj mccarron said yesterday he's got to be quick getting ball out. He's not there yet.
With that said I believe Georgia is the better team right now but..we'll hopefully see. Jordan hare is Bamas house of horrors and a&m isn't losing again.

Bryce will end the season with similar numbers to Mac Jones. He doesn’t have the best Oline, RB and WR in football though. It’s a different offense that requires him to throw more.

Some of that is actually intentional. Saban said prior to the season that part of the strategy in hiring BOB was to maintain drives with the intent of scoring every 8 or 9 plays instead of 3.

Because this season we don't have nearly as many deep threats, and because our defense last year couldn't keep up with that pace. The offense was killing them with 1-2 minute drives.

You Alabama fans are some thin skinned pussies. The OP didn't insult your O. He simply said it was more explosive in the past. You know what? He is not wrong. You have had some of the greatest offences in the modern football recently. You do have what appears to be a weaker O-line and are breaking in a freshmen QB. Get the sand our of your vaginas or slap more KY in there. Low IQ non reading comprehension Gumps. Your O is still something to envy

Alabama’s offense has to work harder to score because they cannot consistently hit big plays over the top. Jameson Williams may have 75% of the explosive receptions this year. Young is a good quarterback but he’s not shown himself to be a great deep passer. The balls are just a bit off and the receivers end up looking awkward…probably explains some drops but not all of them. Also I am not sure the WR corp has anyone who can consistently beat press man coverage too.

Those offenses were more explosive. At least if we're counting plays.

I think Bryce will eventually get the timing down on the deep balls and that will add some explosiveness to his game. He did finally hit that one deep ball later in the game after I posted previously. And the one before that was closer than he had been.

However, being able to drive down the field like that have is even tougher. That is ball control, and that is something we've lacked, especially under Tua who was explosive play or bust.

Although they are tougher to complete, maybe Bama preferred time-consuming drives -- to reduce UT's possessions.

Yeah and Georgia’s O looks no better than last year so it’s all a wash.

It is amazing to listen to dawg fans talk like their offensive scheme with the little walk-on is somehow going to confuse the BAMA defense.

You may score 14 pts and you will want Saban to be fired.

If you think Tenn O is better than GA, then you haven't been watching football this year or for the last 5 years.

Good luck scoring with your shitty receivers dropping passes all over the field. 5 star players my arse.

Bama would be in a world of shite this year without Bryce playing so well as a 1st year starter.

Bryce made 3rd play after 3rd plays with both his feet and arm vs 10RC and that is the reason for the win.

Bama has a problem either with the OL coach or the talent evaluation of those signed these past two years was off the mark.
