Every Bama drive looks tougher this year. Having to actually drive it every time.

Young is really good. Excellent throw there for the TD. But they made it look so easy for three years. Doesn't even look as easy now against bad defenses.

I don’t think they’re very worried about that side of the ball.

Not hitting many big plays for sure.

That may be due to BOB more than Young.

I mean, we did have two of the most efficient QBs in college football history and 4 first round WRs the last few years.

Young isn’t as accurate on the long ball as either Mac or Tua was. And Devonta was going to catch whatever was thrown his way. I think though 90% of it is the OL.

I never said you didn't. But where does this offense lineup with past ones. Would you take it over all offenses pre 2018?

You are correct, we don't have the explosive plays we've had in the past, and Bryce can not throw a deep ball.

His last throw was closer than usual, but yeah, hasn't got the timing down still.

But he does do a good job of longer play drives.

The majority of the offense is new this year.

And yes, I would easily take this offense over Jalen Hurts and Blake Sims run offense.

Those offenses were more explosive. At least if we're counting plays.

Do you think the Tide was upset having 20 first downs vs the vols in the first half alone? If teams want to play soft coverage and make us good the long way we happily take the ball control and TOP and teams' like Ole Miss and Tenn get to watch their offense sit on the bench.

Bryce Young is destroying these zones through the air and when he is so inclined with his feet. All this soft coverage is making Young the favorite to win the Heisman. So be it.

It is amazing to listen to dawg fans talk like their offensive scheme with the little walk-on is somehow going to confuse the BAMA defense.

Bryce was the most indecisive I’ve seen him through much of the third quarter. He reminded me of J. Hurts in late 2017. That was definitely due to the pressure. Tennessee did a great job of mixing up their front 7 packages, but Bama’s offensive line was getting exposed bigly.

Stat line: Bryce Young 31/43, 371 yards, 2tds, QBR of 90.3
Rushing: 10 carries for 42 yards and 2 TDs.

You are looking at the best QB in college football. Better get that little walkon ready.

For the most part Bama has replaced everybody on the starting offense from last year with the exception of 2 OL.

This OL is a step backward from our recent groups for sure.

We're lucky that Bryce is playing very well for a 1st year starter.

It's great UGA is having success. At some point UGA might even have a trophy to match your mouth.

We'll see.
