I don't know why people are acting like Ole Miss is doing anything.
Taking transfers into account they have 31 incoming players thus far, and despite all those recruits they are ranked #13 in the overall.
And based on the average, it's like 20th overall.

I think it is because they are in shock that Ole Miss has a smaller but more committed and wealthier fanbase than their own.
We just signed Lane's best High School class so far and we are doing our normal portal thing.

Correct. They had a three-year starter at QB, team shite the bed, and couldn't even get him a Heisman.

2023 Peach Bowl team went 10-2 regular season. CFB on selection day had them ranked 11th
2024 9-3 regular season and were ranked 14th.
3 out of 4 years in the hunt for a playoff spot.
