It's about 25%. I live pretty close to LA right now, and spend a lot of time there. That's why most people don't like their fans - the vast majority of them did not go to school there (or anywhere), but they're very in-your-face about their athletics. Many of these people are girls/women who don't really even follow sports. They couldn't tell you the coach's name or 10% of the starting roster. But, they know they're "better than you" because they bought some purple and gold stuff. 
I will say this though, I have quite a few friends who actually did go to LSU, and I have no bones with any of them. The actual alumni are generally great people to hang out with and watch college sports with. Tailgating with them is always a treat. I really like most of their fans who are also alumni. Their sidewalk fans are awful and give them a bad rap. Their alumni fans generally agree with what I'm saying, at least they tell me they do.
