This makes me question their position as #1 "Resume" in this ESPN formula.

I mean, they have 0 losses and have played 2 top 10 teams plus another borderline Top 25 team.

I do think that at this point in college football it's pretty clear road/home should be given a much more prominent allotment in terms of figuring out how to weight a win/loss.

Tenn wouldn’t. Bama wouldn’t. Ole Miss wouldn’t. LSU wouldn’t. So from the other top 6 teams in the SEC that leaves UGA and A&M (let’s be honest they probably lose at Arkansas).

Yea, you were a push over, kind of like an FCS team.

On that note, UGA has played 4 top ten teams, not two. That's as of today's rankings. And 3 of those were on the road. And has the same number of wins as Oregon vs Top Ten. Plus a win over Clemson at #17. I get the argument Oregon still has zero losses, but we're talking resumes, their resume isn't as good as UGA's in my opinion. Those two top ten wins they have were nail biters and home games for Oregon. I'm not saying UGA should be AP #1, I'm saying for a resume' ranking, having Oregon ahead makes me question the formula ESPN is using.

Winning in the big house is always a challenge and their defense is legit, Texas boatraced them

OU’s defense is also legit and they’ve been competitive in every other game sans-USC plus it’s a rivalry ala Bama-Auburn where records are thrown out, also boatraced

Bama lost @ Vandy
Tenner lost @ Arky and went to OT with Florida
A&M lockboxed a win at home vs Arky
Georgia likely loses WLOCP if Lagway doesn’t get injured(Texas boatraced UF, Lagway couldn’t have changed that)

Ole Miss lost at home to Kentucky, who’s about to get obliterated Saturday

Texas had 7 turnovers, most in their own territory, vs Georgia and still had a chance to tie late

We had the scout team QB from Yale starting at QB for that game though.

Texas’ SOS is respectable
Everyone focuses on the lack of ranked teams but they have a lot of teams in that 30-50 range

Teams that are dangerous enough to sneak up on ya if you aren’t ready

Penn State is even higher and like Texas only played one team with a pulse, and lost.

Penn State has a very large fan base.

I'm afraid that the TV networks are influencing the CFP rankings with impunity. Its all about revenue rather than being worthy.
