I'm grasping at straws here, but is there actually any mention of recordings of the phone calls? All I see in the article is that they "relayed the alleged conversation."

AU fans have really pissed me off, much like Tenn fans did with Kiffin. Take up for him, and blame his mistakes on other Coaches and Universities. Blind support is the best!
They really were All-In

i read the article but didnt see where it said anything about recorded conversations. still heresay as far as i am concerned. gimme some audio evidence and i'll be convinced.
if theres so many people involved and its surely a done deal, something with substance has to turn up sooner or later. so far, not so much.

AU fans taking up for Cam is beginning to look a lot like Tenn fans taking up for Kiffin.
Not really.

No way the SEC and Auburn have sat on this and played Newton if this is true. I don't buy it.
Dumber things have happened...

My favorite quote from ITAT tonight:
quote:
'More than a scholarship' could mean the environment around the program has to be a positive influence. 'Because it was too much money' could mean they can drive down for the day to see Cam if he is in Auburn without having to get a hotel or spend much on gas. It is another article with more innuendo than fact.

so if all of this is true, would AU have to give up all of their wins this year? and would LSU then have a chance to play in Atlanta for the SEC championship?

CAM NEWTON IS STILL ELIGIBLE TO PLAY FOOTBALL AT AUBURN! For now.

If it's all true, Auburn is more or less done with competitive football for quite some time.

Here's to another undefeated season for Auburn with nothing to show for it.

There is still no admission that they have any RECORDED conversations.

Call me an AU homer all you want. Cam has done some stupid things, Just sounds too convient for somebody to say Cam called MSU and said 'the money was too much'
No way there are no tapes of this that was sent back in January.
