This is an honest question, and it's not directed solely at you: Do some of you have day jobs, families, hobbies, friends, etc.? I only ask because there seem to be quite a few people here who spend an extraordinary amount of time on this site. I can't imagine devoting that much of my day to a message board, especially one where so many of the discussions devolve into the same arguments over and over. Maybe I'm just wired differently, but that much time spent here seems a little unhealthy to me.

When I am posting most feverishly you can bet I am either at work or watching TV. When I disappear for a few days is when you need to worry I’m taking some time off.

Thank you for being so honest with me. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to give me a thoughtful answer, and I’m glad to hear that you make a point of stepping away from this place from time to time. Honestly, I think that’s a very good thing because this site can become a pretty toxic environment, and sometimes taking a break from all of the negativity is good for the mind and spirit.
