And this why your takes are so bad. You don’t have the ability to analyze data and make informed projections.
Do they always pan out? No, no one’s do. But saying there is no evidence to make an educated prediction is the thing that’s foolish.
P.S. no one said “definitely” except you. I’m not sure you understand how this all works.
What data are you analyzing that points to Ty Simpson being an improvement over Milroe?
This entire conversation started over my reply to a Bama fan who said nothing had changed in LSU's defense, so they wouldn't be better. That's factually incorrect but I'm not ready to say they'll be improved without seeing it myself, despite indications that they will be.

Hence, another ignorant take. LSU’s defense will very likely be better than last year’s. “Definitely?” No, but very likely.
The main question will be how much better, and whether your OL can play materially better while your QB takes less risk (or becomes more precise when he does take risk).
The 100 million dollar question is will all of that be so much better that it makes up for Big Game Brian. You don’t need to overcome Ed O this year, but you still have to overcome BK’s shortcomings.

If you think it's an ignorant take for someone to wait and see then that sounds like a you problem.

I’m not the one trolling using one hand to post while taking a “wait and see despite all indications” using the other hand. Just makes you look ignorant, gutless, or both.
Of course, those are both labels you’ve doubled down on many times over the years so color me shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Which post do you believe I was trolling with?

I don't think Venables can survive with 7 wins, but maybe he can. I believe 8 wins does it, and 9 gives him multiple years.
7 wins with a 2026 class that's not top 15 (something even Riley did on a regular basis) he's in hospice.

LSU at 8-4 does not make much sense to me. Honestly, 8-4 will have some people losing a job.
Ole Miss 8-4 is sneaky. I don't think they are as good, but their toss up games are all at home.

LSU’s historical winning % is.645 so 8-4 (9-4 with a bowl win) would exceed that so in theory the fan base should be pleased with that record or anything better, obviously.
Ole Miss is an interesting situation. They had a tremendous team last year but lost a lot of talent. Kiffin has done a great job of molding new talent into a good team each year. But there are risks there if the team does not gel properly. 8-4 is probably a good prediction as they may lose a couple of winnable games and only win one game they are underdogs in.

All-Time High School TD Passing leaders - career
Texas: Grant Gunnell (transferred three times, ended up at Sam Houston)
California: Jake Browning (did well at UW)
Florida: Tucker Israel (never started)
Louisiana: Brock Berlin (Two decent years at UM)
All I'm saying is, being all time high school passing TD leader doesn't look like proof of future college success. Trotting that out as a flex for your new QB (who couldn't beat out a guy that wasn't exactly elite) seems premature.
