ESPN has a vested interest in keeping as many viewers as possible interested. Alabama has 0 chance. A 2-loss non-conference winner isn't sniffing the playoffs.

Depends on what happens in front of us. We have 2 losses, on the road, both vs. Top 15 teams, by a combined 4 points.
If TCU loses any game, they’re out.

We really should thank Georgia because their curb stomping of Oregon will ensure nobody wants to see that rematch if they beat USC in the PAC12 championship.
The same way their curb stomping of LSU in two-weeks will ensure they fall behind Alabama in that final poll.
We just need OSU to win bigly, Notre Dame to beat USC, Clemson to drop another game and it would help if TCU lost to Kansas State in their championship game as well.
