I believe 7 or 8 wins is possible. How bout y'all?

Did you guys lose a bunch of players or something? You guys racked up in the portal. I kind of figured Ole Miss for at least a 10 win season and a legit challenger.

I'll be surprised if OM doesn't win 10 games.

I'm thinking 9 if all the planets align.

Seems low.
Ole Miss plays UGA, OU and LSU.
They have 4 cupcake OOC games. Their other SEC games are Arkansas, UK, South Carolina, Florida and MSU.
Their expectation next year is 9-3. While they might lose one of the last 5, they also might win one (or more) of the first 3.

After briefly looking at their schedule, I'd have an O/U of 9.5 and lean to the over.

Ole miss wins 9 if they catch some breaks. Lane kiffin is still coach and that’s enough for a couple bone headed losses every year.

Right...Lane has been pretty bad there. Ole Miss is usually near the top and he only won 11 last year. 2 bone headed losses to UGA and Alabama. Those are normally sure wins for Ole Miss but bone headed Lane fricked them up****

This thread is a poor attempt at humor

Ole Miss’ schedule is favorable and I expect them to win 10 games and make the playoff. However, I do not think they have the depth to compete for an SEC or national title.

No humor intended at all. I’m not even sure what you mean? It’s just amazing to me how everyone here seems to agree that 8 or so wins is to be expected, and yet when that happens they’re all gonna holler “what happened”????

That went right over your bone head didn’t it?

I got Ole Miss sniffing at the playoffs and probably making the 12. Could be wrong but wouldn’t surprise me. They’re going to be 6-0 going into Baton Rouge. They lose to LSU and Georgia and that’s it.

Is LSU going to magically field a defense this year? Is Daniel's still QB and I just don't know it?

How does ESPN have them ranked 6th in the country with only 7-8 wins?

We shall see, but the reality is for all Ole Miss fans, y'all need this win. This LSU program is no better or worse than yours. You haven't been ready for the bright lights of the ALABAMA and Georgia games, but this team is a fair fight. Let's see you beat them in BR.

ESPN's football analytics are mostly useless. Their FPI model doesn't predict any team besides Oregon to win more than 10 regular season games this season and projects Notre Dame and Penn State as two of the top 7 teams in the country, which is hilarious if you think about it
