Brought up the Facebook post and the 'racist' letter.
Remember Texas was racist too because they wanted to fire Strong.

Like him or not. Whether you are white, black, blue or orange. That letter to his house was wrong and disgusting. Nobody deserves something like that for losing a football game. It's just football people.

They said that fans were calling for Sumlin to be fired which is "beyond ridiculous".

Yeah I was surprised that the ESPN talking heads were so unequivocally in support of Sumlin; they appeared to be shocked that people were calling for his job after blowing a 34 point lead.
The dubiousness of the racist letter is not something they are able to mention, but it has become a matter of significant dispute here on the rant.

Yeah aggies better make sure this investigation is completed or they are stuck with him for awhile.
If it's a hoax they better find a way to connect it to any kind of "termination for cause" clause in the contract as thats the only way the media will pick up the hoax story now.

If it's the genuine article, then yeah, it's pretty despicable. No one here is defending the content of the letter, there are just questions about its authenticity.
