OP is extremely misleading.

Article is giving hypothetical arguments for why EACH team will or won't win the national title.

It makes no serious declarative statement that Bama will win.

Actually thats not true - the initial stories from ESPN regarding Saban was labeling him as a liar. The love affair didn't start until after ESPN recv'd the first check from the REC.

Quarterback AJ McCarron is a year older and the coaches hope wiser. Coach Nick Saban really does want to let him loose.
unless Jimbo was his OC and he had Rohan and Reed, NEVER will NS EVER Cut a QB loose again. That is plain stupid. It is about ball control and D. When Davie and Reed were tormenting the SEC, LSU was just starting to build a defensive mindset.

lolz.

An average Saban QB season over 16 years:
184/335 2376 16TD 11INT
17/30 216 1TD 1INT per game

An average Saban QB at Alabama:
216/350 2650 16TD 6INT
17/27 204 1TD 0INT

AJ is about to blow up and throw for 3500 and 30TD.
