Thank you. He know the damn rules and he's a star player. Sheesh how smart do you have to be to not understand that.

Pretty sure he didn't make the trip to Columbia.

And he can throw, he threw a TD against Vandy last week.

Just saw a report from Bruce Feldman

That the Gurley situation is VERY SIMILAR to that of Johnny Manzeil- the NCAA believes that improper benefits were received but cannot show the trail of how and where the money changed hands.

Also was just told that the University feels this could be resolved before the Mizzou game.

Basically, it's not what you know but what you can prove. Stay tuned...

We all like to point and laugh, but it sucks these kids have to do shite they know they could get suspended for, just to have a few bucks to go out and have a good time, or eat out.

Todd Gurley grew up with out any means in a dirt poor trailer park in Tarboro, NC.

He is not allowed to work or profit from his situation by NCAA rules.

How does the NCAA expect him to survive? On protein shakes and Gatorade?

such a stupid argument.

free education, free room and board, free meals

all he had to do was keep his shite clean for 3 years and he would be a multimillionaire

he still will be. this will have zero effect on his nfl draft status. he didn't commit a crime. he'll be fine in that regard.

He's most likely trying to take care of his mom. His brother is in prison and his dad doesn't live with them.

This isn't so clear-cut. I don't blame him if he took money. I just hope it was cash

LOL...really? They're given more resources at their disposal than the students.

This is true. I'm torn though because while a regular student can get a job to make some money, these guys can't due to the demands of being a D1 football player.

@ClayTravisBGID: Why didn’t Georgia just tell AJ Green and Todd Gurley to lie about this and say they didn’t know. Like Bama does with every NCAA violation?

The NCAA is a bad joke. College football is a bad joke.

Gurley should just say to hell with the NCAA and the Georgia administration.

The NFL has open arms.

I have to admit that I'm a much bigger fan of Gurley than I am of the Georgia football program.
