I disagree. Plenty of substance and probably some technical violations. However, small potatoes IMO.

When I say substance, I don't mean truth. I mean evidence or first-person testimony. In the TTMW "scandal," all that existed were pictures of players in the store and in suits (and some autographs that the owner shouldn't have put up). No substance to the accusation.

In the Deer Antler Spray thing, there was first-person eyewitness testimony (the spray sellers). This is substantial and worth some level of attention.

In the current kerfluffle, there is reported evidence via first-person testimony (probably/possibly made-up or out of context though it is).

A person taking a picture of Adams' car and claiming it's proof of cheating is worthless. Someone (reputable) quoting Adams as saying he received cash from Auburn is a story until the reporter is no longer reputable (soon).

Well, this woman isn't a no-name. She worked for the NYT and SI, so she still has enough of a name to get the attention of major media. Unlike, say, SbB.

If I happened to know someone in the auburn administration who mentioned something to me while I went home this easter would this be the thread to diseminate the information in?
Sure.

What if the information I got directly named and incriminated several athletes, administration officials, and booster within the university?
Are you a reporter or a random message boarder? If a reporter, have you verified the information with other, independent and reliable sources?

Where do you come up with all of these fallacies regarding Auburn fans?

Just because someone says (in jest mind you) that they are glad the NCAA Pres is on our side, doesn't mean they are "cool" with him.

You need to get over your obsession with ITAT and Auburn fans.

Except now she's a blogger. Just read the ESPN story and her so called sources are crawfishing faster than a mudbug around Easter. "...no direct knowledge...just heard..must have told his friend.."etc., etc. You get the picture.

She got her 15 minutes. Next thing you hear will be Danny Sheridon saying how he talked to the 'registrar'...only to never produce said 'registrar'.

No Selena. That information should have been in your blog post.

Saban called off the dogs. Does not want a wounded tiger.

Even Joe Schad has come around
In the fall of 2010, Michael Dyer passed 15 hours of coursework according to a source. Six hours are required.

I'm not reading this whole thread, but I have one question:

Does this thread suck as much as it seems like it would?
