Low scoring doesn't always mean good defense.

We didn't say good, we said epic. And there was some form of epic going on in that one

The AU/MSU game that ended 3-2

The 2 points didn't even come from a true safety; it was offensive holding in the endzone IIRC

2003 UGA/LSU in Baton Rouge, 2006 LSU/AU and 2012 UGA/UF were three of the hardest hitting SEC games I've ever seen.

Allowing 183 yards does though.

Just watched the Auburn LSU game from 2006 with the Auburn Network call.

LOL - explained why a ball intercepted by LSU but had PI called was obviously the correct call, then explained why the "tipped" flag picked up was right because it was tipped before interference.........as the LSU receiver is tackled 2 seconds before the ball gets there.

Man, those guys are something else.

Auburn LSU 2006 - Auburn Network call

Not necessarily. Sometimes, it's just a case of two shitty, inept offenses like last year's UGA/Missouri game.

Yea......except that Auburn team averaged a whopping 235 ypg in SEC games, ranking 14th out of 14 teams in the league.

all time worse officiating crew by far

the Earthquake Game vs Auburn in 1988 was a serious def battle, both defenses were fantastic

A couple for Alabama:

Derrick Thomas against UK in 1988: 14 tackles, 4 sacks, blocked punt, blocked field goal

LeRoy Jordan 1963 Orange Bowl against Oklahoma: 31 tackles (Oklahoma only had 60 offensive plays, so do the math )

Not getting into what the correct call should've been since I've been through that millions of times but it was two completely different situations. Call it interference all you want but don't act like the two calls were similar

I didn't say they were similar at all - I said that they were both close calls and in both situations Stan White, within 10 seconds, was totally convinced that the referees had made the absolute correct call (the first one was a toss up, the 2nd one was not). Shockingly, both those calls benefited Auburn.

It's a fricking broadcast...every single announcer has an opinion on any call within 10 seconds.

What is he supposed to do? "Well I'll wait to form an opinion on that call in 5 minutes when no one even cares about that call anymore"

Hell, everyone on here has an opinion about it as it happens.

Plus, he was calling the game on the AUBURN network. So no shite he's not going to be neutral. Do you think Eli Gold is neutral when he calls games?
