I guess I can see how an Ole Miss fan could talk themselves into something like that. But, I knew very little about the situation and knew he was leaving just by his demeanor when he was asked questions about it. As you said, these coaches leave for weird reasons sometimes. You never know what they're gonna do and claiming that there is no way they are leaving is just dumb.

Yes, I knew from the first time he was asked that he was very interested in pursuing other opportunities. As time went on, it was as clear as glass that he was already checked out and bags were packed. Anybody that thought he was staying after the Florida game, well, they were just morons.

The Lane train only needs to be concentrating on 1 thing right now and that is the first game

I remember asking if any of you had seen Lane that uneasy at a press conference before. I believe it was you that responded saying that you had never seen him act that way before and that is when I knew for sure.

I couldn't agree more. This is the last month anyone will be under the strong delusion that we should fear a coach that has bombed out at half the schools he's coached at and never won any sort of championship at the others. In fact, the only thing he has managed to bring his schools is a bunch of bad press and embarrassment because he's such a weird goofball that can't keep his mouth shut.
