Different circumstances, sure... but the same play. Missed FG gets returned for a touchdown

Sure, keep telling yourself that the return with a four TD lead and with over two minutes left in the game (against the juggernaut UAB) is the same as the game-ending return in the Iron Bowl on the last play of the game (with the game tied) with the SEC West on the line. Sure, that's EXACTLY the same.

How much is on the line has no effect on whether a play is lucky or not.

Same play. Different situation.

But listing off those plays doesnt make a difference. Thats how football is, you have to play the game for 60 Minutes. Both UGA and Bama had breakdowns at the end of the game but thats all it takes to lose those games.

I put the blame of each of those games on UGA and Bama more than i praise AU. Bama and UGA LET those plays happen

I didn't say it happened under the same circumstances, it clearly didn't. I said the play ITSELF was the same, as a counterexample to your statement:

Do you disagree that the play versus Bama was the only time in your life you've seen that type play happen?

Auburn would've won in overtime. Sorry, but that negates your whole OP. Try again.

Wrong; how much is on the line, the quality of the opponent, and how much time is left in the game all factor into how "lucky" a play is or isn't.

I'll give you some credit, slapdick - you have some spunk and don't give up easily.

Wrong; simply because the plays both involved field goal returns does NOT mean they were the same. Again, one was an absolutely meaningless field goal return against a non-conference opponent with the returning team enjoying a huge lead. The other involved two arch rivals, tied, in a game for all the SEC West marbles, on the last play of the game. That is most definitely NOT the same play, even if both plays involved field goal returns for touchdowns.

Kind of the reason your coached opted for a field goal rather than the embarrassment of OT.

Did both plays start with a Kicker attempting a field goal?

Yes. Do two running plays, one ending after no gain and the other ending after a fifty yard run, both start with a quarterback taking a snap?
