success.

Obviously a success for Vandy. With the losses on offense, a lot of fans were predicting a 5-6 win season. To win 8 and have potential for a 9th win is a huge victory. To beat Florida and Georgia in the same season was not something I envisioned happening for another few years of the Franklin era. What's a shame is the fact that the team broke records, both school and SEC (Jordan Matthews for SEC PotY!), and will end up in a worse bowl than when they went 6-6 in 2011 and 8-4 last year. But the year is still a big success.

About what I expected. I think I said about 7-8 wins with at least one victory out of LSU and A&M. I can say I didn't see us losing to both State and Mizzou though.
We improved our win total and beat a top ten ranked LSU team. Plus we're going to a bowl. I'd say it's a mildly successful year but we could have had one or two more victories.

Hey, y'all will always have the March 2013 Recruiting championship though. (or was it May, I forgot?)

It was a good spring. Then came August and with it.... reality.

IMO, the season was successful, but we didn't get done what we set out to do, so we failed.
We shouldn't have lost at UGA, Shaw's fumble on that first drive of the 3nd quarter killed the momentum we had built coming back from 17-3. Then we dropped a game to an awvol Tenn team on the road.
However, the team rebounded and we went on to beat 2 teams ranked in the Top 15, including the 5th straight on Abo's Taters.

Failure. Definitely was expecting 12-0 right now

We should have beaten Rutgers, but other than that I really didn't expect a lot out of this team. We just lost way too much from last year's already terrible team.

The loss to OM makes it a failure. The fact that they had so many injuries combined with Mett going full tard with the turnovers is what really erks me about it.
Not to mention LSU had more talent on the field even if they didn't have any injuries. Pretty pathetic we lost to them.

Failure imo, should've been in ATL this weekend.
I feel the same way mostly. I'm not complaining after beating the taters five in a row, but still, we should have taken care of business in Knoxville.

Failure. Some good moments some bright spots but still a mediocre season at best. CLM being CLM.

Alabama didn't Threepeat, so I'd say a failure. I would think the players feel the same.

The Tennessee game will stick with me like an icepick in the pee hole.

21 straight losses and tearing down the goalposts against New Mexico St. is still fresh in my mind, absolute success!

Success. Only losing one game coming off of two NC seasons. I will take that all day.
