The real story in all this is Kiffin is slimy enough to cut players who get hurt. That may bite him in the arse because that is prime negative recruiting material.
They had either been cut off roster or not cut. Which is it? Evidently they damn sure hadn't quit on their team. Kiffin had forced them off the roster.
