Why does this continue to be a story? Yes, Eli, Peyton, and Archie are going to be rooting for their nephew/grandson to win all of his football games, regardless of whether or not he's playing against their former teams.

Screw the Mannings. They live and have their camps in Louisiana and have never done a thing for the state of Louisiana or any of it's schools. They are not loyal to anything but themselves and money. BTW Archie sucked with the Saints. He never won a thing.

This is why I've always appreciated William Sanders... Barry Sanders' dad.
He was an avid OU fan all his life. When asked who he was rooting for when Barry (at Oklahoma State) played OU...
He said... "I was rooting for OU long before Barry was born... I hope he Barry has a good game but I want OU to win."

And loads more.
You can not like them. That is fine. But, to say they aren't engaged in supporting the state, New Orleans community, and its schools (minus LSU - they obviously hate them), hospitals, infrastructure and people is just incorrect

Archie, Olivia, Cooper, Peyton and Eli partnered with the nonprofit hospital, formerly Children’s Hospital New Orleans. It received the Manning name in February 2025 following a transformational family gift.
Lot of the proceeds from the Manning passing academy goes to Special Olympics Louisiana
Olivia Chairs or co chairs half dozen fundraisers in and around NOLA.
More than $100,000 from Peyton’s PeyBack Foundation to roughly a dozen New Orleans-area nonprofits serving children in the months following Katrina
