“LSwho fan shats on former Louisiana high school football player who signed with out of state team.”

And in other riveting news…

Did anyone ask Walker Howard?

Man, be classier Tigers or take it to TiggerDroppings so you don’t look as douchy as your are.

Word out of Alabama camp is that

There is a wide open QB competition. What more could a TF QB want or expect at a top 5 program where guys like Bryce Young and Tua have had to sit and develop for a year?

I'd argue the path is more wide open today than it was the day he signed to see meaningful playing time this year. Which isn't to say its likely, just that its possible.

Will he beat out the 5 guys competing for the spot this year? Probably not.

Anyone who expects to be a day 1 starter at QB as a non top 10 recruit is deluding themselves just as they would be at UGA or any other truly elite school.

I realize this is some passive aggressive troll attempt because a kid signed out of state, but its also a really bad one.

How does any of this reflect poorly on Alabama?

What in your mind does that even mean?

This was on TR. I requested that it be moved to SECR, as it was not about LSU.

Its better for LSU recruiting in Louisiana when highly ranked Louisiana players go to division rivals and fail to make an impact.

I mean do you think Bryce Young failing to start year 1 at Alabama hurt Bama with recruiting CA?

Julian Sayin (5* QB, top 10 kid) just signed from CA and cited BY as one of the reasons.

Setting aside how Holstein develops, which all remains to be seen, I think suggesting anyone should be expecting to start Y1 at QB for Bama is ridiculous.

Lonergan and Holstein were both developmental guys who if they are going to have success will look more like Mac Jones pushing for a job by their Junior year than a Tua prospect who screams NFL from the day they step on campus.

Eli's a good kid.

I wish him the best, except when LSU is the opponent of course.

Julian Sayin is gonna be tough for all of them to beat next year but yes, the most impressive "Quarterback" is Lonergan and I don't really see a spot for Holstein (or buchner for that matter) going forward. I look for Buchner to be at San Jose St in a few months. Who knows where Holstein winds up but doesn't seem to be D1 material. I haven't actually seen him so take it for what its worth.

Eli's father is one of the worst helicopter dads I have ever heard about. I expect after seeing Sayin next spring he will force Eli to hit the portal

Say what?
ESPN.com's No. 22 player nationally and the No. 4 pocket-passer ... also listed as the No. 12 player in the Southeast Region and the No. 2 player in Louisiana by ESPN .

He was very highly coveted.
