Most of the obvious points in this whole thing have been sort of clouded over by the weird back and forth with LSU fans.

Obvious point: he’s done at LSU (and it won’t be on his terms)
Obvious point: what he did was not normal even if cheating is normal.

I don’t understand who taught him to cheat. Who were his mentors? The head coach should always have plausible deniability.

Didn’t investigate fully when this came out in October. He wil pay for that mistake.

Perhaps he did investigate fully and just like the last few days, more shite surfaced and they had no choice but to take action to suspend him? Alleva didn't conduct the investigation, LSU's Compliance did and then after this shite storm media frenzy, the LSU Administration had to show some muscle.

I thought Sean Miller was gone last year, but he’s still around. Impossible to predict this one.

Was he suspended indefinitely?

I meant nothing in terms of no penalties for whatever reason (NCAA can't find evidence, NCAA fvcks it up, whatever).

I suppose they could mess it up somehow ala Miami football. . .

However with the recent rule change, that he speaks so clearly and detail about the "offers" would seem to be all the NCAA needs to sanction him without further investigation.

No evidence further than the recordings themselves may just mean a 2 year show cause instead of 5 or 10 year.

Just heard an LSU radio guy saying Will Wade was talking about that the "strong offer" was simply a "strong scholarship package" and the "tilted towards the family" was a "great package of free seats for all home games" for the family.

Sounds good...put him back in...

The NCAA needs to be lit up.

They’ve known what’s been going on in college basketball for years.

Yeah, but I'm not sure they've known that actual Head Coaches were dealing directly with agents/middlemen/and runners to the point that a HC regretted not giving a runner a big enough piece of the pie.

So obvious, LSU waited 35 days to fire him.

Oh, wait, they didn't fired Wade? They reinstated him? They fired the AD and neutered the president who wanted Wade suspended? Oh, wait, they hired Texas A&M's athletic director to be LSU's athletic director?

Yeah, really obvious.

Unless they can prove that physical money actually did change hands, which I highly doubt. Just because there were supposed 'offers' discussed on a wiretapped phone conversation, doesn't mean that there were any real actual payments of any kind.
