Either there was a sniper in the Auburn stands or Freeze, like Kiffin, is faking injuries.

And this is what apathy looks like after you drop your second SEC game. Heads up Little Camper. The 2024 season is just around the corner.

Everyone is doing this.
I get that going tempo is a strategy...and it is in just about every OC's playbook.
I also think the rules committee needs to take a look at that. I'm not sure it is in the interest of the game for offenses to predicate their success on defenses not being able to line-up before the ball is snapped. Is that really in the spirit of the game?

Kiffin wanted this addressed years ago and nothing happened.
It is the old, if you can't get them to change the rule, use it to your advantage play.

It's always hilarious to me...Malzahn and Kiffin were the worst I've seen at this, and both of them always had the nerve to act incredulous when they thought the opposing team did it to them
And not surprised Freeze would, for the record

It’s an Italian sniper. And he’s ruthless…

For the record, everybody used to do this to us. So we just adapted yalls ways. Sorry not sorry

That happened under Malzahn one time. That's it.
I dont like the tactic. It is embarrassing if it cannot be played off better that that...but then again Freeze knows how to embarrass himself.

One time

Gus and Gene literally started the flop when Gus was the OC at Auburn. You guys have been flopping since 2009.

There's a sniper problem in the SEC, hope they can catch him/her.

Gus was around for 7 and 8 seasons and two flops? Who cares.
Ole miss does that three or four times a game.

It was bad enough when teams first starting going temp0 and injuries were being faked to slow down the tempo...but now every time it happens there are 3-5 commercials of about a minute each ran while the "injured player" is seen to. That is not a terrible thing once in a 3 hour game but 5-6 times in 2.5 minutes of game time it makes the game as interesting as Cricket.
The new clock rules are supposed to keep the clock running after a first down is made. Somehow during the Auburn / UGA game, in the 3rd quarter with about 13.5 minutes left, UGA makes a first down...and there are 9 commercials ran. It was a little over 13 minutes between plays after a first down. No one was injured, no one took a time out, Georgia picked up a first down, the telecast cut to commercials and nine ads later the game resumed. 5 National ads and 4 local ads...90 seconds into the second half after a 35 minute halftime break. As if that was not bad enough it happened again about 6 minutes later LOL. Only had 7 commercials that time though. Seriously, I get it that they have agreed to pay the schools way more for the games than they are worth but they are going to drive away all interest in the games....no one watches commercial TV now that is why they are willing to pay as much as they do, live casts of sports is the one area where people will tolerate commercials...but the public is not going to tolerate the number and length of commercials they are being forced to endure this season. It has rendered the game unwatchable.

For the record I have never seen a Carolina player fake an injury, but please tell us about how everyone does it.
I guess we all used to hand out 180k to get a QB also.
