I'll leave X to you, but the majority of the unrealistic expectations here definitely come from opposing fanbases.

I'm "hoping" to win the natty.
If I'm being realistic, this team plays 10 P4 schools next year with 5 SEC road games. The offensive line remains to be seen, and the starting quarterback is coming off of a major injury. The offensive system is new.
I could easily see 8-4.

This is the second most talented roster Lane Kiffin has ever had and certainly the most expensive. I find it hard to believe a majority of the fanbase will be happy with 8-4. But I guess that's just an outsiders perspective. Maybe the most rabid fanbase in the country really will have tempered expectations for a change

It took him 2 seasons and a fairly weak schedule.
2026 LSU has one of the toughest schedules in the country.

I can accept 8-4 but just want to see the team get better as the season goes. BK had a hard time with this. If something was broke early in the season it seemed to never get fixed.
