Went to a game with my daughter this year. Sure enough it's still "@ Pat Dye field" ...fall 2018. Don't get me wrong. I like AU. And I admire PD but some of the fans stink, like all fans. Not one AU fan stepped up and exposed the poster for his uneven stance. But I call 'em like I see 'em.

BTW I think Gus is a straight up and down cat. And he came closer than PD to winning a national title and actually was the power along with Cam in 2010. And he has never had anything come along about him like Bowden and Dye yet he is a cuss word @ AU. All this 9 months after getting a Saban money contract. Now he loses 5 mainly because he lost all those 5th year and great OL. So what else is new GUS lost 5. That's just what they do, 4 or 5 losses the last five years. Go back 7 and take in the 2013 Gus near title year...they still average between 4 and 5 a year. That ain't Saban's fault. That's on the PTB's @ AU. Saban is a rightous guy, doesn't drink like a fish, strong faith and built a monument to it on the UA campus and rehabs coaches. And he and his wife and family are exemplary. Again he ain't perfect but he'll do til perfect gets here.

He did just that. I remember it well and as they say..."you could look it up"..But that was an example of the days we were in. Pat and Ray Perkins at Alabama were having one hell of a little rivalry going. In fact if memory serves me Ray turned right and ran one of his to death not long after.

All schools have some history. Some AU fans have Bama derangement syndrome which causes them to open mouth and insert foot. I usually laugh and say to myself, CHARMING, but murder enabling is pretty strong even for a few of the derangement victims.
