Welp, he earned it you see. LSU was predicted by 95% of the pundits to go 6-6, but he went 9-3. Could have been 10-2, but the 13th man made sure it wouldn’t happen.
We have stellar recruiting class coming in. Future of LSU football looks bright. I see wars with Auburn, Bama, and A&M I. The future.

Or low shot he wins a ship next year on an expiring and you have to open the checkbook even more. It’s a gamble either way.

Seriously? The only reason to throw out an extension here is because you're afraid someone will go for broke with a salary offer and steal him away. Can anyone think of a single program in the country that is desperate enough to mortgage their house to steal O from LSU? I mean, this isn't even an attempt to troll here -- I suspect most LSU fans, even O's biggest defenders, would be equally mystified at that proposition.

Nobody predicted you 6-6 and you always have a stellar recruiting class. It’s LSU. Might be the best recruiting situation in the country.
At 9-3, at the very best, he held serve on expectations. Nobody else is looking to hire him. He’s being paid fairly now.

Les Miles got fired for these type of seasons so i'm not really sure why the bar would be lowered. It's not like he came into a rebuild

Wow, Miles gets fired for 9-3, Orgeron gets extended. Yaw Yaw may be a con man, but he’s a damn good one. Hope they increase the buyout too for selfish reasons.
