The current LSU scandal doesn’t come close to Baylor.

However, I think that if any of the accusations related to the football team end up being true, the reputation hit to the University will at least be in the same ball park for no other reason than LSU leaderships’ resistance to accountability, transparency, and responsibility from the time these allegations hit.

The other problem they now have is that if they don’t convincingly disprove these allegations, they will keep coming up anytime something else draws negative attention to Orgeron/the football program.

Which tells you right there all you need to know. This wasn’t a conversation about rape, clearly.

The player himself said he wasn’t sure that O knew about the rape. But now the attorneys are tying to twist things to make some $$$

I'm shocked...shocked, that a failed criminal suit was dismissed and now there is a civil suit.

As our native pedophile would say "Nevah bin dun befah."

He said he talked to Orgeron about Guice sleeping with her and the player's words were that he assumed that Orgeron knew of the rape allegation but he couldn't be sure. That was in the first USA Today article.

New accusers added to the lawsuit. Really just means there will likely be more evidence in the form of testimony, perspectives, etc.

There’s nothing ‘new’ to discuss other than that it adds smoke, and, consequently, more likelihood that there is a fire.

You can say whatever you want in a civil suit.

Crazy how bad of an apple Guice was. Had everyone fooled. Remember his college gameday sob story? Meanwhile…

What kind of fire?

No one with more than 7 brain cells thinks this.

Criminal prosecution of rape usually fails without evidence of physical struggle or evidence of illicit drugging, and even then it’s not a guaranteed conviction.

Coming forward and failing to get a conviction can result in people accusing you of lying and, given that people like you are prominent in the LSU fanbase, can subject you to even worse verbal abuse.

That and the percentage of scummy police has been on the rise, so distrust of police is rapidly increasing.

Wow, I didn't know people were convicted without trial. I just learned that.

No. When Orgeron told the guy that all girlfriends sleep around he was implying it was not rape but was consensual

I won’t be surprised if Guice implicates Orgeron

Oh wow, these are the same old ludicrous allegations Ed O has already completely denied.

The lawsuit alleges Ed Orgeron was told by a former LSU football player that Derrius Guice raped his girlfriend, Ashlyn Robertson, and Orgeron did not report it.

If true, he should be fired immediately.

Are you new here or what’s up? This came out last year. O also said,”Girls cheat with other football players, it happens” about this, not what is reported. Personally I don’t believe the shite. I’ve had two separate instances where girls cheated on their boyfriend with me, boyfriend finds out, girl cries rape. Women lie every day of the week. They are conniving creatures that will ruin a man’s life without hesitation for personal gain. ESPECIALLY when money can be made in a settlement.

The player himself said he didn’t know for sure that Orgeron knew about rape.

Meaning… “I didn’t specifically tell him about rape. He may have known, but I didn’t specifically tell him. ”

Read the original USA Today story. This was all covered over a year ago.

And Orgeron’s response, per the player, lines up perfectly with what the player is saying that he didn’t specifically tell O about rape.

You have no clue what you're talking about. It was in the first USA article. You're wrong.

Because he thought it was. The player didn't tell him any different in the original account, now the player has changed his story.
