They held us to our lowest output of the season.
That’s not a fail.

So if they had a half-way decent qb, AU wins? Interesting, I’d figure the entire complexity of the game changes, including what LSU does defensively and offensively. LSU might have lost or won by a larger margin. No way to know how it ends. You are blind and stupid if you can’t figure that out.

If the barners had some semblance of a college football offense special ed would still be explaining to his team and media what went wrong.

If Auburn still had Jarrett Stidham they would have won that game.

Yeah and if LSU has Leonard fournette they would have won by 20. Stupidest comment ever.

Dude, Steele did his job. Extremely well.

Auburn’s loss was on Gus. Period.

i mean, on the surface, maybe. But LSU's gameplan, especially later in the game, was made knowing that Auburn couldnt score or move the ball.

Had they been able to, LSU would've adjusted a la the UT game. Maybe Auburn would've stopped it, but you can't just say that willy nilly.

You are blind if you can’t see that LSU’s offense would have played that game completely differently if Auburn had a threatening offense.

I mean hell, we started the 4th quarter basically running out clock.

It wasn't designed to slow down LSU, it was designed to keep LSU from scoring 50 points. AU gave up everything underneath and prevented the deep/big plays. AUs Offense just couldn't hold up their end of the ball. If Tua is healthy, Bama wins by 2 TDs playing their normal D. If Jones plays, look for Bama to try and copy Steele's plan. I think LSU wins by 2 TDs if that happens. LSU will have a better plan than they did against AU.

Only gave up 23 points to a team almost averaging 50 points a game.

Seems like he shut that offense down pretty good.

Kevin Steele came up with a nice defensive scheme in his version of the Dime Package. That's what you do with LSU's RPO passing attack.

It’s well known Kevin Steele runs a bend but don’t break defense and that 500 yards only lead to 23 points for LSU.

The classic, “If we had better football players, we would be better at football.”

Boys, it finally makes sense. The key to winning football games is having good players!

Ntm if Auburn was scoring LSU probably wouldn’t have run the ball up the middle like 20 times in a row to end the game.
