We know who has played the weakest schedule against the East since 2012.
They played the East champ 4 times over that period in addition to the regular season games...still 17-0

Yeah let’s fix a temporary problem with a permanent solution
Just do away with divisions, add a conference game, take the top two teams and put them in the championship game.

Send us some help from the West for fricks sake. Mizzou has the 2nd best record, that tells you how pitiful this is
UT should petition to get Bama off their schedule. UT, Mizzou, Scar and Vandy should all get to play Arkansas and Ole Miss

If you did that, you might as well cut the dead weight and just have a 6 team conference. There are teams that have no chance of ever winning an SEC championship, just get rid of them

We also know who has won 3 NC since 2012
(should have been 4 )

If you do away with divisions, why would we need a 9th game? The team rotation would be faster even at 8.

Just think if auburn was in the east they would be #2. But there in the west at #6.
But they are above.500.

Georgia is 2-4 against South Carolina and 3-3 against Florida since the latest expansion. Let's not act like you've been dominating the East.

Yep. Lock in three permanent opponents per team, and you do a home-and-home with every conference opponent every 4 years (it takes 12 years right now). I'd be fine with going to 9 either way (and it should already be happening under the current set up), but 8 games makes things nice and tidy without divisions.

Just because I want a 9th game lol. Also would lessen the possibility of more than two teams having undefeated conference records(which I think would be possible)

It's actually 5 times.

Typical gump scheduling.
Remember complaints about how your opponents had a bye week before they played Bama?
Conference scheduling is done by the conference. Bama gets very limited say. Which sometimes leads to griping (see Auburn fans on a regular basis, and occasionally includes Bama).
As opposed to nonconference scheduling where you can schedule who and where for any of those matchups.
You would rather rotate more Kentucky, Vandy, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Missouri (remember that half of the league is below average) than control your scheduling and build up your SOS?
I get the desire to see the league more often. But that can be fixed outside of divisions. 9 games is a hindrance for all other scenarios.

Mr. Bean
Is it just me, or every time you post league stats LSU comes up at #2.
I’m not happy being second best, but considering it’s to bama it means something.
More importantly, it means LSU is better than every other program in the SEC.
