Yeah I've heard he's looking there. It would seem to make the most sense for him.

Not a homer? How can not mentioning all of the Bama losses on offense, but mentioning the LSU ones, make any sense? I believe you are nothing but a big homer.

What big losses? Greg McElroy? Mark Ingram? Alabama is replacing him with Trent Richardson. Hardly much of a drop-off there. Julio Jones? Maybe. But our WR corps is deeper and better than it has been in many, many years. Carpenter is actually looking like our biggest loss as of this moment.

welcome to the board buddy, not bad but my predictions are

East

1. Georgia: Aaron Murray is the best QB in the SEC, Crowell makes a big impact as a true freshman, and Richt knows his job is on the line.

2. South Carolina: Garcia, Lattimore and Jeffrey all return

3. Florida: Laden with talent and athletes for Muschamp

4. Tennessee: Bray made big strides down the stretch last year

5. Kentucky: Morgan Newton has some potential, gotta replace Randall Cobb

6. Vanderbilt: Year 1 for Franklin

West

1. LSU: Get solid QB play from Jefferson and/or Mettenberger

2. Alabama: Trent will have a huge year, and defense is loaded as hell

3. Arkansas: Knile Davis and best receiving corps maybe

4. Auburn: Pound the rock with Dyer and McCalebb

5. Miss State: Momentum from last year and Chris Relf returns

6. Ole Miss: Don't put it past Nutt to surprise, Brandon Bolden is back

If you go by the number of players on Phil Steele's preseason All-SEC teams, the final rankings will be:

SEC West

1. Alabama-
2. Arkansas
3. LSU
4. Ole Miss
5. Mississippi State
6. Auburn

SEC East

1. Georgia
2. Florida
3. South Carolina
4. Kentucky
5. Tennessee
6. Vanderbilt

Hey guys I'm a student at UA and a buddy and I are starting a sports talk show on the campus radio station 90.7 The Capstone. The show is called Capstone Sports Talk. Anyways i'm making my SEC predictions in the next few weeks, and was wondering what you guys thought.

so basically you throw half assed numbers out there and ask for input - when in actuality you don't really know shite and want the rant to do the homework for you.

I think your predictions are rubbish.

Your grasp of SEC football is laughable at best. Stick to whatever you were doing before this "sports talk show". It will be an utter and complete failure.

On the contrary - I think his show will be quite popular in T-Town. This is the shite all the Gumps want to hear and believe.

Yeah I'm asking for you to do my homework when I made my own predictions. I think you are just a little upset about Auburn's upcoming season.

FYI Genius - i said the homework comment - let me guess......your the John Madden of your Duo? does your partner know your gonna drive him to drininking - ala Pat Sumerall?

dude, if typing random numbers and nonsense - then asking people on multiple boards what they think, is not having others do your homework I dunno what is.

I would lay wagers that when you "announce" these on the radio show, you will not have the sack to say what you posted here - you will change it based on "outside influence".

you suck - and no this isnt cause your at Alabama - its cause you personally suck.

First of all, let me put aside your blatant homerism and ignorance of predicting Bama to go undefeated and having LSU finish 3rd. You probably made that presumption based on Jordan Jefferson's sub-par play last year, but have no problem predicting a team who is going to start an unproven sophomore in the toughest division in all of football to go unbeaten.

In order to have a successful sports talk show, you have to have a complete grasp on not only your home team, but everyone else. Your predictions leave out a ton of detail and you fail to mention what Alabama lost due to the NFL draft. There are a lot of generalities and assumptions, which anyone can hear just by talking sports with patrons at a bar.

You have to have an angle and specific detail. Not to mention your grammar is deplorable, which sometimes translates into mediocre to sub-par public speaking.

You've got a lot of stuff to clean up if you are to be put on air. I wouldn't listen right now.
