The Aggies pull a rare upset. Ags by a field goal

We are playing a million true freshmen who are trying to figure things out on the fly in the SEC. It's going to lead to some problems.
No no no you were doing fine, you had been courteous and receptive to courtesy, you had established trust-with the embarrassing truth about miggs- and now this ham-handed segue into "we beat ourselves"...
tut-tut-tut it won't do.

Tua throws 4 picks and loses a fumble.
Aggy wins 33-31.
LSU fans get the weirdest boner ever.

quote:My guest picker is finally in the thread. Your 2019 season has not gone as you would have liked so far. Tough losses against Clemson on the road and Auburn at home have led you to an early 3-2 record. However, along with Auburn and Ole Miss, your Fighting Texas A&M Aggies have the most recent wins against the University of Alabama. This is something you can justifiably be proud of. You have had a week off to prepare for this tough SEC West matchup. You are at Kyle Field and you have the 12th Man behind you. How are you feeling about this game? What is your early prediction on a score?

A&M hasn't been shut out at home since 1971. Keep that in mind for everyone predicting a shutout.

LOL we aren't shutting anyone in the SEC on our schedule out

I do not see any shutout. With the exception of the East (gasp), no one is playing sound defense in the SEC
A&M has their back up against the the wall. With an extra week to prepare I think CJF comes out with a damn good game plan. Early on it is a dog fight. However, Alabama just has too many horses on the offensive side of the ball. They run away with it late (like they always do). Still cannot settle on a score in my mind. This is my second must watch game of the week (after UF vs LSU).

From what I’ve seen from both teams this year, Alabama by 20+
I think they opened at -13.5 favorites. Should be 18-20 point favorites imo

Earliest score prediction and I will be 100% correct is 0-0. But after about 1:39, if Bama receives the kickoff, it will be 7-0. Are those "Early" enough?

A&M does not do well after bye weeks.
3-6 over the previous 9 seasons. (Wins over Idaho in 2011, Ole Miss in 2013 and UL Monroe in 2014)

Would not be as rare as a team who has lost 8 in a row to Bama, sneaking up on an upset.
