Dylan Brooks commits to Auburn

The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder is rated as the nation’s No. 76 overall prospect and the No. 4 player in the state for the 2021 class. Brooks’ decision to commit to Auburn came swiftly and brought an end to a lengthy saga for the Handley prospect, who signed with Tennessee during December’s early signing period but sought his release from his letter of intent following the program’s firing of then-head coach Jeremy Pruitt last month. Brooks is now the highest-rated member of Auburn’s 2021 class, which vaulted to No. 20 in the 247Sports Composite rankings following his commitment on Saturday afternoon.
Auburn still has several scholarships available and expected to fill other positions of need from the transfer market.

LB group is getting gutted.

The biggest recruitment of this year was Auburn convincing Tank Bigsby to stay in Auburn. This isn’t a bad class at all considering the coaching change. Gus and company had struck out on a lot of recruits with the 2021 class, including Dylan Brooks. It left Auburn is a bad situation and uphill climb with a lot of recruits once Bryan Harsin took over.
