Wow, Tony Brown must've been the fastest player on Alabama's team, right?

Weird how the fastest player at the combine is also the one who got burnt the most in college

He was a track guy so he was always very fast. Coverage skills not quite the best though

LOL at this board. Dude makes a thread about combine numbers and immediately gets turned into a troll thread.
Tony is Good enough to have multiple Natty rings and about to be a millionaire, while some key board warriors talk about him. Tony is also crazy so none of you would smart off to him in person.

PFF article

quote:

but the best players on the Tiger defense this year have arguably been their standout cornerback duo in freshman CB Andraez Williams and junior CB Donte Jackson. The latter has allowed just 29 receptions on 54 throws into his coverage this year with 11 total passes defensed.

Donte did have a bad game against A&M (even with his pick as also mentioned in the article) but he was pretty good for the year.

No Anthony Averett numbers? He was suppose to be the fastest player on the team.

I missed that one, I'll update his, and also the others as I see their times posted.

Kinda like how one of the most dominant DE prospects last year got manhandled like a little bitch in college.

How does a DB run 4.7?

A few updates, the last batch started their runs. Minkah with a 4.47. Harris and Harrison not running at all.

Did tony not final in the 60m or 100 at ncaa's one year? Would've bet on him being the fastest, but a 4.36 is legit af.

I think Tony has more weight on him than he did for his best runs. He's about 200 for football.

No improvements on 2nd runs. I noticed several guys not running for SEC DBs. Injuries?

Donte had his calf cramp up during his start and he still ran a 4.32. Not trying to overhype the guy -- he's kind of a shite cover corner -- but he IS pretty damn fast.

Probably shouldn't have talked about breaking the record tho. He oversold and then underdelivered. Nobody likes that guy.

Officially was a 4.63, not sure how that 4.48 unofficially was so off. Normally they are very close (within a couple hundreths)

He had a calf cramp and only ran a tenth of a second slower than the combine record? Somehow I am incredulous.
