From 1982- 2011 we won 51% of the time. The THIRTY YEAR PERIOD we are discussing.
Pre 1980- the Bear killed us.
Post 2010- Saban killed us
There was a roughly THREE DECADES in the middle there, Gump.
Why do you want to pretend that never happened?
No, there was 1 decade when Saban came to LSU and you are attaching it to the other 2 decades and purposely ignoring the decade previous to create a bullshite narrative.

I am “ attaching “ the 2000s to the 1990s ? Or the entire sentient human race “ attached “ the 2000s to the 1990s?
I have seen a lot of stupidity in my life. But your stupidity is special . It’s a kind of paint chip eating meets Dropped on the head meets fetal alcohol syndrome all- combined-together stupidity.
From the time Bear left Alabama and Saban arrived at Alabama, LSU and Alabama played it essentially even. That’s just a fact.
If you include this CURRENT run Alabama is up 23-15 -1 since 1982 when the Bear retired. That’s good for you (hardly dominant), but things always look good in a series when you are on an eight game win streak.

Well they seem to be detached from the 70's for some reason. I wonder why.

Believe what you want but LSU has rarely been relevant and when they beat Alabama it wasn't because LSU was great(until Saban), it was because Alabama was having bad years.
Furthermore, the entire debate about this topic was someone tried to claim an Alabama fan must be young, and if you go for the time period before Saban went to LSU, you won only 35% of the time after Bear.
In my lifetime, LSU won about 20% of the time before Saban.
Before Saban came to LSU, LSU wasn't shite.

Dear God. That’s embarrassing. Your life would be so much better if you could think .

If we were brothers, Alabama would have married our pretentious, lying ex-girlfriend without coming to terms that we took her virginity.

Don’t be surprised if your employer asks for their money back, Turing.

We can’t be brothers because mine don’t have sex with first cousins

Gotta love LSU posters, Alabama doesn't even make Top 5 in the incest rankings. Kentucky and South Carolina have the highest incest rates in the SEC. Just a little bit of research will highlight that. While Lousiana ranks first in Obesity, Diabetes and overall Misery. Anytime someone from midwest states flushes a toilet it end up in the Mississippi eventually.

Does this not explain aggy within a 99 percentile?
Get beat by UT 76 times
Leave big 12.
But then says LSU cries like a bitch to mom, when all you boys do here is lament what Texas has done to you physically, mentally and emotionally.
So, so rich.

You sure do research some weird shite......as if you were curious about those things in particular. Then thank the high heavens that while you are probably in the top half, you’re not number one. And thats a win for you today.
Aim high.

The Alabama / Auburn fans are more like brothers than anyone in the country. Period. Ain’t even close here in the south anyway.
Outside of the LSU folks on this board, who desperately want to be in the same league as Alabama, it is not anywhere near a brotherhood, a rivalry, or whatever you want to call it.
It’s so laughable because they are barely in the top 5-6 in the entire league.

So you want to exclude for Alabama the Bryant and Saban teams, but you want to include for LSU the Saban teams when he was in Baton Rouge. Why would you do that?
For the record, from 1983 (post Bryant) through 1999 (the year before Saban arrived at LSU) Alabama won 11 games, LSU won 5, and there was a tie in 1985.
True, it's not as bad for LSU as the overall record of 54-24-5 (according to stassen), but it's not "essentially even", as you said.
edit to say that after some math, and excluding the ties, Alabama has won about 69% of the games overall, and about 69% of the games from 1983 through 1999. That's interesting. As previously noted, I'm going by numbers provided by stassen.com, though their website isn't updated to include last year's game.
