If Urban deserves to lose his job for allowing a domestic abuser to continue to coach, shouldnt Saban lose his job for giving a scholarship to a player who also committed domestic abuse? Especially when Saban knew about the abuse and still offered him a scholarship. And then said player went on to abuse another female at the University of Alabama.

It get even worse when you look at Saban's comments about Johnathan Taylor's abusive behavior

Saban says he's "not sorry" for giving Jonathan Taylor an opportunity. "I wanted to help the guy make it work. We're sorry it didn't work."

Saban: “We’re not apologizing for what we did.”

Saban says Jonathan Taylor did “everything we asked him to do,”

Saban: "I still think he's a good person. I think he has a problem and a circumstance that is not acceptable."

This^^^ but it would not fit an Auburn fan's narrative so I understand his attempt to troll here.

I disagreed vehemently with Saban’s decision to sign Taylor. Bama doesn’t need to take a chance on a kid like that. Saban quite rightly caught a lot of flack for it.

The difference is everyone knew about Taylor’s past. When it happened again (allegedly) Saban took swift action and booted him off the team. Everything was above board when we signed him and no one tried to excuse it when it happened again. It was acknowledged and dealt with. That is difference.

#1 - I hated bringing Taylor in

#2 - Taylor was immediately dismissed when he was charged with assault in Tuscaloosa

#3 - The charge was dropped and the girl said point blank she made it up

#4 - Saban never lied or covered anything up. The entire process played out very publicly.

Other than that, you nailed it

My issue with this is that everyone knew, both families, all the friends, cops came several times but no charges were filed?

This is the couple's fault and I hate Urban but this is just stupid. She needed to go to a shelter and cut ties at some point, there is support for this and it's not everybody elses responsibility as accusers often recant.

I'm honestly torn, there's just such a thin line between minding your own beeswax and getting involved. It's a hard line to walk at times. I'm not trying to justify anything with that but we all come into contact with weirdos or those we wonder how they are behind closed doors but when do you cross that line? I'm thinking tho you probably do in 2018 where everything is breaking news and when they're employed by a university and therefore represent the university.

The AD, Title IX compliance officer, and police were made aware of Zach Smith

Doesnt look like Urban covered that up either....

Name a coach that has not tried to give a player another chance. This is just a stupid post. Your hate is showing. Why not start a post about coaches that have been arrested for domestic violence?

Again poor little tiger failed to understand and answer the question because it did not fit his narrative.

The question that was asked:

quote:

Name a coach that has not tried to give a player another chance

Cam Newton would fit that answer I believe

Keep trying as you may one day became a better troll

First of all the only real issue for coaches is winning. Everything else can be dealt with by some nameless university idiot.

If I took five minutes to look it up. Just do a "I hate Nick Saban and Alabama post!", instead of hiding behind this fake outrage. Man up if you can.

It's not just once or two incidents of Domestic Abuse. Zach Smith did it multiple times and was also constantly doing stuff that violated ohio state policy for their coaches like ordering sex toys to his office, visiting strip clubs, etc. etc.

eta - and urban knew. Gene Smith gave Urban a recommendation to fire Zach long ago and Urban didnt.

every team that hosts Ohio state should have their fans bring sextoys to toss at Urban and crew. how awesome would it be on live TV for urban to get hit by several gigantic flying dongs.
