Who thinks this? I think we’ll keep him as long as he wants to be here if he’s winning. If he’s not winning we will send him down the road and buy a new one. If he decides to leave on his own guess what we’ll do then. That’s right we’ll buy a new one.

Honestly, given how the plan to raid Ole Miss' roster has failed, and the less than stellar portal results, coupled with UW planning on suing, Lane may actually do it.

That will be interesting to watch. He would have to take less money to jump to the NFL. Not sure he is interested

I don’t think as many LSU fans have illusions of grandeur regarding Kiffin staying long as may be believed.
There’s nothing he’s done or said over his career that would/should lead someone to believe he won’t leave as soon as the next best thing comes along.
Not to mention, no NFL team will pay him what LSU is, so he would need to be careful about where he leaves for.
The few days when the Alabama job looked like it could possibly open, there were LSU fans wanting Kiff to come out and say he was committed to LSU. I lol'd.
He seems to be damaged goods again with how this all went down. Few years of winning would make that less damaged.
