My wife used to "watch" some of the games with me, which was really more like just being in the room. Now, she leaves the house about 30 minutes before kickoff.

Our first date was to LSU / State in Death Valley. She wanted to leave at halftime.

My wife watches every game of every MSU sport, even if I'm not at home. And she even understands the finer points of the game.

My wife doesn't really care. She attends games with me but really just for people watching and the party part of the atmosphere.

Not really. There are troll threads and there are enjoyable threads like these where you let your guard down and spend time together as opposing fans talking about common interests. Until some acts like an a-hole. The proverbial turd in the punch bowl. Congrats. You are that guy.

No, and mostly like it that way. When she does happen to start watching an LSU game (on TV) with me, she asks me the "why did they do that" questions, and I get annoyed and ask her to go watch Hallmark. I'm just too intense to handle the disturbances, especially if it ain't goin' well.

She’ll go watch in person but doesn’t care to watch on tv.

My wife graduated from Troy and got her Master's from Florida State so she was a bit confused early on. I took her to TSIO and now She's full blown Bama with a sweet spot for Troy. Could care less about FSU.

I had them convinced that Chase Young was done at Ohio State over a bacon cheeseburger.

Wife enjoys baseball more than basketball/football. She does know nothing is getting done on Saturdays during football and the tv is switched for any Arkansas game.

The SO only watch the games we go to, even then she is just enjoying the entire show. She isn't a fake woman fan.

Now I'm going to make them defend the championship game from 12 years ago.

Too easy.

I kind of like it that way, because female sports fans tend to get realllllly intense during games.

Screaming women at sports venues might be the worst noise on Earth.

Wife is an alum so she's into it

But in reality she looks at instagram for 90% of each half, watches key moments and then gets highly emotionally invested for the final 5 minutes of each game.

It's a good blend. She tolerates almost all the games I want to watch, but she's not a "sports girl" which can get pretty annoying.
