Seriously asking seems like the smart move after that embarrassing UK loss when they hadn't won since 84 there
What do u say vols and others? I'd be surprised but maybe
Also Chaney without Pittman following him everywhere. I wanna see him with Bailey. See if Pittman was actually a big part of his success

If I’m going to watch a Qb struggle, I’d much rather watch a freshman who can improve over a 5th year senior making the same mistakes. Starting JG going forward Is not the move. He is awful.

I said almost the same thing in the UT game thread yesterday.
If I'm UT/Pruitt, I'd treat this year as a throwaway year and get the young dudes the practice they didn't get during spring
If you roll with Bailey, it also may discourage Guarantano from returning next year. He had his shot and he obviously doesn't have it upstairs
Like you said, if you're going to struggle, do so with your highly touted freshman...not with a 5th year senior making freshman mistakes, time after time.

It would be career suicide if Pruitt lets JG return next year in a starting capacity.

Pruitt will go with JG as he clearly doesn’t trust Bailey with the offense or to not turn it over. Once they lose again, after the Bama loss, I think he’ll consider throwing Bailey to the flames for 2021.

The lack of spring practice, along with contact tracing quarantining over the summer, is why Bailey isn't farther along than he is.
