The team gave up in the first game. They don't believe in him or care. State played well and determined the first half, but they rolled over and just took it in the second half. That is a terrible mentality to start the season off with. I expect State to have the same amount of skill as they did last year, as in any team with a pulse that they play they'll give up halfway through the game. Personally I'd love it if they kept Mullen on, but they have to get rid of him to get Hudsbeth next season. He could legitimately be your Hugh Freeze, in that he can get players to believe in him and he'd actually want to stay in Starksville. I don't want y'all to fire Mullen specifically this season so someone else will pick up Hudsbeth.

If we had not gone stupid with the play calls on offense. With the same play calling in the first series through out the game, we win.
You can not run that much and expect the defense to not crowd the line to stop it.

I agree somewhat with you. Y'all won the first half and were looking good. Play calling kept you off the scoreboard and took you out of the game later. OKState also adjusted and y'all didn't.
But y'all's receivers are bad. Russell's not that good and dak isn't what y'all talked him up to being. Sure y'all have the talent to win but y'all wouldn't win a matchup with them often. You say y'all played bad but don't even acknowledge they didnt even play well on offense and could have beaten you by 4 TDs

Are you that dumb? That's the point being made clown. We passed effectively the first drive. 6 out of 7 completed and then went to the run game. 15 plays 12 were rushing and 3 passing.
Not even going to address the stupidity of your comment about passing in the 4th quarter with our back up.

Yes we adjusted. We went from passing it, keeping the defense honest to let's run and watch them crowd the line and run anyway... over and over... and over.. and over.

Well they adjusted to something that worked on offense. I think controlling the clock was just your game plan and I know y'all threw it early. Either way I don't know how you can be beat soundly and say you should have won if it wasn't for play calling
