Was obvious we had the ability to beat OSU. We started out great. Controlled the clock. TR completed 6 out of 7 on the first drive. Our defense showed up.

What baffles me is the total commitment to run the ball. After that first drive, we called 12 rushing plays out of 15. Ran it until they were loading the box.

Point is, MSU fans very where have had it. Mullen felt the heat with the DC last year and is already feeling it with the play calling now.

Will he change early on in the season or try to wait it out and take over the play calling?

Stop posting about football if you don't know anything about football

Using your logic, New Mexico State has the ability to beat Texas

Yall blew it when you came up 10 yards short of returning the blocked FG for a TD.

Our defense showed up.

They stopped themselves on several drives. They left 2 touchdowns on the field. They had 432 yards of total offense, their quarterback had over 100 yards rushing and they had 286 total rushing yards.

We for sure had the players, athletes, speed, size, scheme to pull it off on the defensive side of the ball. A half what normal offense would have been enough to win that game.

derp derp. What the hell did you think we did the first half? shite, we were moving the ball down the field at will, only to shite our pants. The only OSU could get on offense was a QB read/run. That was majority of their offense.

Talked to someone on staff today and IMO it will either be a new offensive coordinator or mullen is gone if things stay the same

Second half it looked like they were throwing it to the flats with pretty good success.

There goes the Auburn, A&M, and Ole Miss games right there. Good luck against Bama, LSU, and South Carolina.

What happened to the whole "as long as we make bowl games, we're happy" line that State fans having been giving for the last few years.

Don't think they went anywhere. I think the hope of making a bowl game after saturday, however, has evaporated.

A team know for great passing offense ran the ball all over MSU, they couldn't get their shite together throwing the ball so they said f it we are going to read option the rest of the game. Yeah your defense was not good.

Btw How does it feel that a big 12 defense that was far below average last year held you to 3 points?

I think Mullen has no idea what has happened since 7-0 last year and has no idea how to fix it.

Mullen isn't a bad coach. He's taken MSU to three straight bowl games, which can't be said for anyone since Sherrill the bull castrator. His misfortune is that he's at a school that has become a coach's graveyard.
