Obviously LSU has lost a lot on defense, so they will have a lot of inexperience there.

The schedule is ridiculously hard with both Florida and Georgia as their cross-divisional opponents.

Hill would be missed, but their offense should be more efficient with Cam Cameron at the controls.

Their QB should be better with a year of experience in the SEC and a real offense to operate in.

8 and 4 is probably the worst case scenario, probably 9-3 is most likely.

I don't know why people start threads over other teams when they clearly don't follow the other team enough to have any sort of opinion that can be taken seriously.

Brings to mind the six billion shitty Alabama threads started each day.

Anything is possible with the Grass Eater. It really depends on how much they're looking ahead to November 23.

I think LSU will be better than most people on here are thinking - or rather, hoping (though not as good as LSU fans think they´re going to be). I think they´ll beat UF and UGA, but lose to Bama, A&M, and one more solid team that they are better than (maybe Ole Miss?).

I agree with almost everything you said, except I don't think we lose to A&M at home. I think people are giving them too much respect.

IMO worst case scenario is that Hill gets suspended for a few games. Of LSU's first 4 games, the opener against might be the toughest and barring a summer camp injury, LSU will have 3 experienced RB's.

8 wins are probably guaranteed. One of those will be on October 12th.
We don't need Hill to win games.
We didn't need a quarterback to win 8 games in 2008 so we sure as hell don't need Hill in order to win 8 games this year.

Moving on... Next?

My prediction regardless of whether Hill is booted or not:

TCU - W
UAB - W
Kent State - W
Auburn - W
at Georgia - L
at Mississippi State - W
Florida - W
at Ole Miss - W
Furman - W
at Alabama - L
Texas A&M - W
Arkansas - W

LSU would have been 8-4 instead of 10-2 without his Heisman winning runs last year

A dumb Gator-led thread...

I doubt it, LSU is deep at RB

More important is the new offensive scheme. That needs to take off with Mettenberger at the helm...

George Bush was still in office the last time we only won 8 games.

And the answer to your question is potato. Because you're a retard, get it?

I think you missed who won the Heisman.

Let's be realistic. LSU has demonstrated through performance that they will have a good team every year.

Someone who follows their program more closely could probably better predict what the impact of losing Hill would be.

I seriously doubt the wheels would fall off.

Are you sure you aren't an LSU alter in maroon clothing?

Kenny Hilliard, Alfred Blue, Terrance Magee, Jeryl Brazil, JC Copeland, Connor Neighbors, Travis Dickson, DeSean Smith, Logan Stokes, Dillon Gordon, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Quan Leslie, Travin Dural, Kadron Boone, James Wright, Jarrett Fobbs, Avery Peterson, Armand Williams, John Diarse, Kevin Spears, all say hi.

So does a very deep and experienced O-line averaging 6'5" 330.

Oh yeah and at QB - 6'5" 230 Zach Mettenberger, 6'8" 225 Stephen Rivers, freshmen Hayden Rettig and Anthony Jennings,

And an NFL O-coordinator with 25 years experience.

Jeremy who ?

We also could conceivably have been 13-1 or 12-2 if we get one more first down or Alleman makes the FG on Nov. 3.

Yet 9 of 11 starters will be JRs or SRs, and the other two started as freshmen last year and will be sophs.
