You can be assured of one thing, if LSU wins, it will not be due to our own excellent play, but due to the failure/deficiency/coaching/injuries or our opposition, or to poor officiating. It’s been that narrative after every victory this year. It’s a wonder we’re not winless.

OMG!!!! Tua's like Superman, Jesus and Tom Brady all rolled into one. He's absolutely perfect!
Any QB can be beaten. Any team can lose. See you boys in two weeks.

Yes. LSU has an elite defense and we are playing at home. We have a chance.
As has been mentioned previously, Bama's offense has been Big 12 explosive all year. Receivers running wide open and Tua's throwing strikes.
12 yard completion, 8 yard run, 20 yard completion, 11 yard run, TD... their D gets a turnover or a quick 3 and out and BOOM, Bama is up 14-0 early.
LSU has jumped out to early leads too and used a smothering D and field position and excellent special teams play to support its mediocre offense.
Bama's receivers won't be running freely in this game. Tua will be challenged to make great throw after great throw, and Bama will have to lean more on their running game.
The key-- can LSU make enough plays using all the phases to put us in position to get points and make this a fight, to keep the crowd into it and make Bama execute under pressure.
Nothing would surprise me. They haven't seen anything remotely as good as LSU... but we haven't seen anything like them either.
It will definitely be the best regular season game of the year, with the most NFL talent on the field.
Having said that, if LSU can get be +2 in the turnover margin, they'll have a chance.
If not, Bama probably wins by 10-17.

I remember feeling the same way about Johnny Football coming to T’town. I watched in horror as he made our Defense look like a high school team.
Luckily McCarron rose to the challange and balled out or it would have been a slaughter. Still lost though.
Tua is going to get his. Can Barrow rise to the challange and ball out against Bama’s D?

The answer is YES.
LSU has a real chance of winning this game.

Since nobody in this board is giving a top 5 LSU a chance in hell of beating Bama at home, this should be considered one of the greatest wins of all time if LSU pulls it off, correct?

I’m not sure Bama has a chance.

Anytime you have an elite defense, you have a real chance.
Anytime you're playing at home in Death Valley, at night, you have a real chance.

Yes, in all honesty. No joking or trolling.
A win by LSU in this game, this year would absolutely be shocking and a huge victory/upset.

I keep asking this ...why does Saban keep wasting Bama’s bye week on L7U? I mean...we’re so easy. Shouldn’t he be using it on all those tough opponents?

Good reason to win??

Devin white being out for the first half really changes the outlook of the game. I was thinking 34-28 lsu now 35-31 lsu. Damn referees. Alabama has played a weak arse schedule

strategically, the middle of the season is the best time for bye weeks. After Tennessee and before LSU, keeps us from potentially having three big games in a row. If you and Tennessee ever swapped places on the schedule the bye week would be before them.

Nah, not at at all. I don’t think they should even play the game.
