Because Clemson hasn't lost in 2 years, has the top pro prospect at QB, a better defense, and a slightly deeper roster then LSU. It's not a weird call to favor them.
That being said, Burrow is playing at the highest level at QB most of us have ever seen and I see no reason to think he can't score 35-45 points on Clemson and run away with it. SEC...SEC....SEC

I get So tired of explaining this. Since LSU acts as the host of the site you get ALL of our fans. Whereas the rest of the SEC are experienced forum users, we have fans who don’t really know the culture and post any thought as a new thread.
In the real world, our fan base is as levelheaded as yours or anyone else.

Pedigree. Same reason Bama will be top 2-3 preseason next year even with all the losses, why ND gets so much push every year, why every year people want to prop Texas up etc. They've seen Clemson there before and trust that more than the reality that LSUs offense can't be stopped.

They'll get the stops Alabama couldn't get and they won't gift lsu with a walk on, back up punter and a severely broken defense. A defense so broken in fact, transfer portal guys actually got a chance to start. All that shite and the game still came down to an onside kick.
It was said by everyone, all season that if lsu couldn't beat this fricked up Alabama team, they never would. Well clemson isn't fricked up, not even a little.
