Clemson has played one game this year. And maybe two games last year. So the stats from 2019 are meaningless. Clemson games from 2015 to 2017 are meaningless. Completely different rosters.
LSU played 5 top ten teams at least.
So Clemson beat Texas AM. 24 to 10. Fairly competitive game. LSU beat Texas AM 50 to 7. It could easily have been 70 to 7.
LSU has 5 first round picks in this years draft on this roster. Probably at least three more for next years draft. Clemson has one for this years draft and Lawrence plus a couple for next year.
LSU has 2 shut down corners. Clemson does not
Clemson is going to play an inverted Tampa 2 with five guys in the box. We will run all over them.
Clemson will score on LSU. Absent kicking game mistakes, defensive touchdowns This game will be pretty much on the Vegas number of LSU by 6.

besides, lsu matches up in personnel, scheme, in game adjustments, etc. what other way do you want to slice the game? tell me where you think clemson has advantages.
the one area that lsu's defense has struggled in all season is containing the edge and that has improved since delpit got healthy.
